KiiTIS Announces Mr. Manav Gupta as ‘Brand Ambassador for Art and Sustainable Development ‘

KIIT International School is honoured to announce Mr. Manav Gupta as the ‘School’s Brand Ambassador for Art and Sustainable Development‘. Mr Gupta is an iconic Indian contemporary artist and a true visionary who has worked consistently towards the betterment of the environment.

Awarded exceptional leader of excellence and credited to have created the six most revolutionary solo art shows of this decade on Indian soil, he is recognized by Ministry of External Affairs’ Public Diplomacy as ‘ambassador of India’s soft power’, and is the only artist to be invited by Environment Ministry to create one-minute-films on climate change.

He is the first artist in residence at Rashtrapati Bhawan invited personally by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam to collaborate for a four year project of a book of the former’s poems and paintings. Mr Gupta is the Youngest Expert Committee Member for National Republic Day Celebrations and is proving to be one of the most influential artists from India.

A real game changer, he has invented transformation of pottery and traditional rural craft and objects into mega avante garde installations with a cutting edge global language as contemporary art movement to raise environment consciousness. He was listed by Financial Times among the top ten contemporary Indian artists whose works would fetch good returns and has established himself as an ambassador of contemporary art, culture and evolution in the creative field.

Some of his iconic artworks that have secured themselves in books of records and many international media include – a ten thousand sq. ft. world-record, five-floor mega mural “Tree of Life’ at Airtel, Indo-Bhutan friendship mural in Bhutan– commissioned by External Affairs Ministry, the giant Ganga ‘Waterfront’ Installation in Delhi at India Habitat Centre among others.
