KiiT International School management felicitated the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program faculty in recognition of the excellent performance of the students of the May 2019 cohort. The senior management team led by Chairperson, Dr Mona Lisa Bal and Principal, Dr Sanjay Suar commended the faculty for providing constant support and guidance to the students, often going beyond the call of duty.
The commitment of the faculty and the constant mentoring of the students with a mix of firmness and understanding helped them to acquire the requisite skills and meet the requirements of the IBDP CRITERIA, giving the students unconditional offers in top universities of the world like London School of Economics, UK, University College London, UK, Kansas University, Australian National University, RMIT University and more.
Dr Mona Lisa Bal addressed the team and lauded their success. It was encouraging to hear that the senior leadership was contemplating an independent international curriculum school, to provide an alternative to students seeking to pursue career opportunities globally. She urged the need to create a better understanding of the international curriculum among the stakeholders in order to ensure that the students join the program for the right reasons and justify it fully. Dr Sanjay Suar offered to support the teachers in all their endeavours, to maintain the highest standards of academic excellence for the program. The faculty were given saplings as part of the Go Green drive of KIIT University in the wake of cyclone Fani. Also, a special incentive was given to students who scored the highest — grade 7 in their subject.
The program was attended by all the Coordinators and senior members of the teaching and administrative team.
